How does the Pawspiracy team choose their seafood?
We work closely with fishermen to ensure the best catch of the day. We hand-select each fish and scrub clean every mullusc. Only those with bright eyes and firm flesh make it to our kitchens. We exercise caution and only choose to process seafood low in the food chain to ensure safe mercury levels.
Why are shellfish steamed?
This is due to the fact that shellfish often have bacteria that can only be destroyed by cooking. We choose to gently cook the mollusk to prevent food poisoning and make every bite a nutrient dense snack!
Storage
Store at room temperature, refrigeration optional. Keep away from sunlight and heat. Do not open until ready to feed. Store opened portions in an air-tight container.
Expiry
6 months from manufactured date. However, as these products do not contain preservatives, we highly recommend finishing within 3-5 days after opening. After all the fresher, the better!
